I began a business career in Australia. We then moved with the family to the GCC region in the late 1980's, doing projects for the ruling families and then progressing to physical commodity trading.
There was so much evident waste in the early 1990's that I moved into sustainable technologies.
The technologies included solar, water re-cycling and power from waste. However, after some years of effort and no interest, I was finally driven to more available activities.
My next adventure was organising festivals, or events with the Municipality in Al Ain. These events began as flower and garden and heritage, but the following year included music and the year after that added an air show.
In recent years the region has shown an interest in sustainable technologies such as solar and water re-cycling, some of which were still in my focus.
I turned my attention to carbon neutral cement, bio toilets, small scale water re-cycling, recovery of metals from industry, recycling of oil waste and applying new cooling technology for medical purposes, to provide drug free pain and swelling relief.
My efforts are presently focused on producing "green" cement here.
