Mohammed Kabbani started his career in the engineering and construction industry in 2009 after completing BSc degree in mechanical and aeronautical engineering at Emirates Aviation University. He also has an MSc in mechanical engineering at American University of Sharjah.
Mohammed is an accomplished BIM implementation professional with a proven track record working with major contractors across the UAE including Arabtec and BK Gulf. He led the first certification of the British Standard Institute (bsi) BIM kitemark in the Middle East. He contributed in many iconic projects in and outside UAE and helped to achieve better outcome by successful utilisation of BIM. He possesses strong knowledge of BIM implementation on both project and organizational levels, his involvement in many international projects exposed him to a wide spectrum of BIM standards and practices.
Mohammed is an accredited Chartered Construction Manager and member of the Chartered Institute of Building CIOB. He is also a certified BIM manager by the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors RICS. Mohammed is currently working for Siemens and responsible for the Global BIM implementation and management including setting of BIM standards, defining organizational BIM goals and measuring the BIM maturity against the BIM KPIs.
