  • Columnar soilcrete elements created by mean of the contemporaneous employment of Soil Mixing and Jet-Grouting techniques.
  • The HP-MIX consists in the creation of columns of consolidated soil, obtained with the mechanical mixing produced by a series of blades with nozzles interposed to the blades for the consolidating admixture injection at a pressure of about 250 bar.
  • The application studied by McDrll Technology foresees the use of multiple heads
  • To achieve this result, MDT has developed a special type of rods capable of withstanding pressures of over 500 bar.
  • Economic Advantages

  • In the early nineties, BSP was given the brief by the British MOD, to design and manufacture a fast, mobile and efficient way of compacting the ground for the Runway Repair System.
  • Working closely with the UK’s Building Research Establishment (BRE), BSP quickly realized the potential of this new and exciting technique for civilian application and now produces the equipment that is known as RIC today.
