Amr Al Degwe Is the Senior technical manager of NSCC since 2009. He joined NSCC International in 2005 at UAE. He is responsible of design and technical support for underground structures and marine works.
Amr received his BSc in civil engineering from Helwan university, Cairo in 1994 as well as his MSc in geotechnical engineering on 2009.
Throughout 25 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, soil structure interaction and dewatering he was working in major consultancy and international companies in the Middle East. His experience extends to different countries such as UAE, KSA, Qatar, Lebanon, Kuwait, Oman and Egypt.
In 1994, he joined “Hamza Associates”, one of the major geotechnical consultants in Cairo, and he was involved in key projects such as Bibliothica Alexandrina, Greater Cairo metro and Salam Bridge over Suez Canal. Later He joined “Soletanch Bachy” and was involved in the design of Al Azhar Road Tunnel. He Joined the “The Arab Contractors” in 1998 and was involved in the designed and coordination of Al Tahrir car park, Esna navigation lock and Old Cairo groundwater control project.
He received many training sessions in Egypt, UAE, Turky and Belgium for various geotechnical applications, 2D and 3D finite element methods. His experience extends to most national and international design codes and standards. He supports all pilling, shoring and grouting most advanced construction methods and machinery.
